NEW Vs CHE Fantasy Team Probable Playing 11 And Match Report: Pieces falling together in place at Chelsea as the side look to be completing their puzzle with each passing win.
Newcastle United vs Chelsea will be televised on BT Sport 1 from 11:30am on Saturday, November 21. It will also be available to watch on the BT Sport app.
Kick-off from St. James’ Park is at 12:30pm.
This Chelsea side needed time to move in unison and justify the club breaking the bank prior to the season but the London based club is slowly taking on the shape the club’s ardent supporters had in their mind.
Whilst the club is far from the finished product, things are finally moving in the right direction for the side. Unbeaten in their last five fixtures in the league, a run which included two wins on the bounce, Chelsea is starting to show signs of the juggernaut it has the capability to conjuring into this season.
Newcastle, along with most of the Premier League, are struggling with an ever growing injury list and could be without seven players for the visit of the Londoners.
There is some good news, however, as top scorer Callum Wilson could come back into the fold following his thigh injury after returning to training this week.
Manager Steve Bruce said in his pre-match press conference: “Callum’s got every chance. He’s trained for the last couple of days and felt extremely comfortable.”
Given the extradonaire form the club had hit, the team would have rued the two week hiatus, one which stalled their sensational uptick in the points tally. And with the club taking on a Newcastle United side which has traditionally proved to be a monkey on the side’s back, Chelsea know they can’t treat today’s encounter easily.
Kick-off gets underway at 12:30 UK time.
